What is Mastication?
Mastication is the process of mechanically grinding or shredding brush, small trees and other vegetation into mulch using specialized equipment. With CFS we use a Primetech Masticator and a Sany Excavator with a mulching head. The mulch is then left on the ground to naturally decompose, enriching the soil and reducing fire hazards.
